  • NPC Hocha in Fluffy Snowflake Village will now also exchange your [Event] Emergency Carrot Rations! Take 20 [Event] Emergency Carrot Rations to Hocha instead of Lorenzo Murray if you would like to get your own Cute Snowman Transformation Scroll!
    • You need 20 [Event] Emergency Carrot Rations in order to exchange for the scroll.
    • Cute Snowman Transformation Scroll summons a Cute Snowman with which you interact with to transform into one.
    • The summoned Cute Snowman will disappear if you leave it idle without transforming for 30 sec. it summons.
    • Once you turn into a snowman yourself, please mind the duration of 10 mins. and that you will transfer back if you go into water while transformed or end transformation yourself.

  • The new class Nova has been released. Meet the Last Princess of Calpheon!
  • After maintenance on December 22 (Tue), Nova will be able to open any enhanced gear boxes, Weapon Exchange Coupons, and Combat/Skill EXP Exchange Coupons.
  • However, season characters cannot use Combat/Skill EXP Exchange Coupons.

• Increased Devour Efficiency
  • Increased the efficiency of Devour when using it on PRI (I)–TET (IV) enhancement level gear.

• A rumor is spreading that Quturan's Black Leaf and Quturan's Ashen Leaf can be caught in O'draxxia fishing areas.

• Winter Season has begun!
  • From today until the end of Winter Season of Season Servers, the following servers will be converted likewise:

    • NA/EU_Kamasylvia3 → NA/EU_Season3

• Black Desert's Season Servers help new adventurers to settle in quickly and help them rapidly level up.
  • Only season characters may enter the Season Servers.
  • You can get Extra EXP increase buffs, Season Leveling Aid Boxes when reaching levels, Secret Book of the Misty Breeze that grants extra Skill Points, and other benefits in the Season Servers.
  • Season characters cannot equip normal gear, but they can equip the special "Naru" and "Tuvala" season gear. "Naru" gear can be obtained by completing the main questline (from the very beginning to Mediah) between Lv.1–Lv.55.
  • Tuvala gear is a high performance gear that can be obtained starting at Valencia. They will help you progress through the game. Tuvala gear can only be obtained in the Season Servers and can be enhanced using Time-filled Blackstones, Tuvala Ores, and Refined Magical Black Stones.

 

• Added "[Season] Rift Frostflower" that can be obtained by defeating monsters in Valencia, Kamasylvia, Drieghan, and O'dyllita.
  • "[Season] Rift Frostflower" can be exchanged for useful items by taking them to Fughar.

 

• Added the Season Pass that gives special rewards when the season character completes a set of goals.
  • You can check out details on your progress and rewards in the Black Desert Season Pass on the banner placed on the left side of the minimap or the Inventory (I) window.
  • You will receive a reward that will help your character grow in the season server every time you complete a given objective.
  • Purchase the "Black Spirit Pass" from the Pearl Shop (F3) to receive a special additional reward.

• Added "[Season] Morning Frostflower." This item can be obtained as a reward by completing the Season Pass or by opening the Season Leveling Aid Boxes when you reach certain levels. This item may be exchanged for other items that will help adventurers on their journey.
  • This item can be handed over to <Black Market> Patrigio in Velia to be exchanged for other items.
  • ※ Weapon Exchange Coupons will no longer be issued after the end of the Winter Season.

 

• Added a new heating formula where, if you use Heating via the Processing (L) window on the 4 Tuvala accessories, it will produce Tuvala Ores depending on the enhancement level of the accessory.

• Added season character exclusive regional quests to certain monster zones in Valencia, Kamasylvia, and Drieghan.
  • The regional quests will be automatically accepted when you move to these monster zones if you have achieved the required level. Once you start to defeat monsters in these regions, you will be able to see your progress on the UI at the top right side of the screen. Complete the objectives to receive items that will help you in your adventures.
  • The level requirement as well as the rewards you may obtain will differ according to the difficulty of the monster zone.

• The evil beings in Ibedor's Endless Night have increased their domain by borrowing the appearance of the beings from O'dyllita. Therefore, the rewards obtainable from these evil beings were improved.
  • The drop rate of "Specter's Energy" from Dark Knight was increased by 5 times.
  • The drop rate of "Embers of Despair" from Ulutuka was increased by 3 times.
• The Turo Soldiers have become furious at night with heightened senses.
  • The probability of Turo Soldiers finding traces of intruders will significantly increase at night.
  • When any trace of intruder is found, Elite Turo Soldier and Ulutuka will appear to stop the intruder.
• Fixed the issue in Ibedor's Endless Night where the Olun's Golem attacks were registered differently from where they appeared to land.
• Increased the benefits gained from defeating furious monsters at night.
  • Now defeating monsters at night will grant an Item Drop Rate +10% buff.
  • The nights of Tunkuta are dangerous. Now, their Chieftan Ulutuka becomes more alert at night, with an increased chance to appear and threaten the adventurers.
• Fixed the issue where the Loah Flower Pot would not become neutralized when multiple adventurers used the Mutant Loah Flower Neutralizer all at once on Padix Island.
• Fixed the issue where the name of the monster <Cute> Snowman was displayed at an abnormal location.
• Changed the messages that appear at night time given the item drop rate increase for defeating monsters at night.
• Adjusted the difficulty of Titium who appears for the [Event] Protect the Ice Crystal! quest at Fluffy Snowflake Village.
• Fixed the issue where Olun's Golem couldn't move in certain areas of Olun's Valley.

• Improved the UI design of the Character Name Change Coupon.
• Fixed the issue where skill cooldowns would be displayed incorrectly after the loading screen.
• Fixed the issue where guilds with guild points exceeding 999 wouldn't be displayed in the Guild (G) window.
• Added the function where hovering your mouse over an area where you can either input text or adjust the window size will change the shape of your mouse cursor.
• Fixed the issue where the Pearl Shop Suggestions alert wasn't working even after it was activated via Game Settings > Alerts.
  • This setting will enable an alert from Lv. 20 and onwards whenever your weight and inventory are lacking.
• Increased the size of the Chat Group menu to include two menu windows both above and under the current version.
• All adventurers have now been placed in one chat group by default. We removed the previous "Leave" button, and all of our adventurers who did not utilize the previous chat groups will join the new "Heidel's Street" chat group. You can join the chat group of your choosing via Menu > Community > Chat Group, as well as toggle on/off selected chat groups in the settings.
• Revamped the Default Game Settings UI design.
• Removed the wording from Additional Copy details that stated that you could purchase Marni's Processed Fuel with Loyalties.

• Fixed the issue where choosing to reveal one's guild to show on their My Page on the official website would display the guild but hide their guild's level.
• Fixed the graphical issues for the hand portion of the Witch's Treant Camouflage Outfit.
• Fixed the graphical issue with the Mystic's Blackstar weapon overlapping the Dhyana Gloves.
• Fixed the graphical issue with the Hashashin's Alchemist's Clothes around the armpit part.
