Spring has finally arrived in the world of Black Desert Online, it's finally warm enough to grind outside without a coat! Flowers are also starting to bloom and with them new events are arriving for you to enjoy!
As spring means new life, also new changes are being applied to the main story quest and to the Node Wars, so keep reading this week's patch notes to know all the details about the updates coming to your favourite content!

Added a feature at the Warehouse which allows you to automatically recover items back to your Warehouse when items occasionally disappear. (Items can occasionally disappear due to network connectivity issues while attempting to register/list items at the Central Market.)

When failing to move items from the Inventory/Storage to the Warehouse (or vice versa), you will now be able to proceed to the next process.
-
However, failures due to the volume limits or due to connectivity issues with the Central Market will result in a waiting time like before.

Node War Changes
-
Tier 1 Nodes are now divided into Easy, Medium and Hard levels, each calibrated to enforce different max AP and DP caps.
-
We hope that this change will make Node Wars more accessible to newer Guilds, and Guilds first venturing into the Node War scene. These max AP and DP caps for each node were implemented to provide a more obtainable goal as adventurers participate in Node Wars.
-
This system was first implemented in the Black Desert Global Lab on February 28th, and tier 1 nodes were divided based on your feedback. Tier 1 Nodes are now divided into Easy, Medium and Hard levels, each with different AP and DP restrictions.
-
The max AP and DP calibrations will be applied to skills performed by characters and their summons in PvP, but not when they are mounted on guild mounts or siege weapons. Damage reduction rate will be calculated without taking in the DP calibrations into account.
-
Please note that the new AP and DP calibrations will be applied to all those who are in an area in which a Node War for a Tier 1 Node is taking place.

The amount of Node War individual rewards, Shining Medal of Honor, increased for the wins for each tier. Also, adventurers in the top 5% in regards to Contribution will receive more medals depending on the tiers.

Adventurers who are a part of a guild and join a Node War can obtain the Shining Medal of Honor by clicking on the rewards button after a Node War has ended. (The Node War in which the guild has participated must end in order for the adventurer to receive the rewards.)

Adventurers who do not accept the rewards after the end of a Node War cannot participate in the next Node War.

The Shadow Arena rankings window has improved so that you can see rankings from monthly resets.

The records within the Accomplishments tab of My Information (P) while in Shadow Arena will no longer reset.

Fixed the issue where the minimize and close buttons would not function when playing in windowed mode.

The size of the time UI at the bottom of the Shadow Arena mini map has been adjusted.

The Desired Purchase Price and Set Price will now stand out more conspicuously within the price list of the Purchase and Sell window at the Central Market.

Added a feature at the Central Market which shows you the Pearl Shop when there are items which are on sale in the Pearl Shop (F3).

Fixed the issue where notification would not be displayed when registering pearl items at a higher price than the set price at the Central Market.

When using "Collect All" at the Central Market, the buff status for Value Packs will now be displayed in the descriptions.

You can no longer repeatedly receive the HP Potion (Beginner) from the Common Rack.

Fixed the issue where the target getting hit by the additional hit of the Ultimate: Frenzied Destroyer skill would receive a melee AP buff as well.

The monsters near NPC Beedle have been relocated to ease the interaction with the NPC when going through the Finding a Way Out quest.

The number of Steel Imps in front of the Western Guard Camp has increased due to the renewal of the beginning quests.

You will no longer get Penalty for Death from getting killed by the Fireballs summoned by Boss Giath from the Dark Rift.

The beginning stages of the main quests have been revamped.

The quests and balance of the monsters for the initial quests have been changed so that adventurers who are new to the Black Desert world can enjoy the growth of their characters.

New characters will now begin near the Ancient Stone Chamber instead of the Western Guard Camp.
-
Once new characters reach the Western Guard Camp, the characters will go through the same main quests as before.
-
Due to these changes, the difficulty level of monsters appearing during the quests for the Balenos area has been adjusted.
-
The Node Manager of the Ancient Stone Chamber will now be changed to the Stone Chamber Excavation Lead.
-
The knowledge for Node Manager - Jarette Domongatt has been changed to the Stone Chamber Excavation Lead, and the amount of energy consumed when obtaining the knowledge for the Ancient Stone Chamber from the Stone Chamber Excavation Lead will be changed from 10 to 0.
*Characters who were going through the previous main quests cannot go through these revamped quests. Instead, they will continue with their current quests. -
The auto-navigate for "The Isolated Supply Route" quest has been changed to navigate you to where the Gray Wolves are located.

The amount of small potions given out as rewards up until arriving at Velia has been slightly increased.

Fixed the issue where a quest you cannot accept (The Story of the Hero Borne Upon the Winds quest) would be displayed on the quest widget.

Fixed the issue where the underwear button beneath the equipment window would not be displayed when you enter and then leave the equipment repair screen.

Improvements have been made to the Adventure Log within the ESC menu.

When you close and then re-open the ESC menu's Adventure Log, the recently selected bookshelf will now appear.
