Succession of Events: Dual EXP Share Event

04 December 2019 10:00

Event 2. Dual EXP Share Event

Period: December 4 (after maintenance)–December 17 (before maintenance)

  • During the event period, you can tag your main character with a sub-character. Until your sub-character is at 99% of Lv. 59, it will gain half the amount of the EXP your main character obtains (excluding EXP boosts).

1. Click the “Tag Characters” icon on the top left of the screen.

2. Select any character to share the EXP you may obtain as your main character’s gain and click the “Tag” button (you can Untag as well).

3. After tagging, if you acquire Combat/Skill EXP through your main character, EXP will be stored for the tagged sub-character as well.

4. The tagged sub-character will receive half of the Combat/Skill EXP gained by the main character.

5. Adventurers can receive Combat/Skill EXP that has been stored in the “Character’s Tag Setting” window by pressing the “Get EXP” button after logging in to the tagged sub-character (the EXP stored prior to the end of the event will not disappear, therefore you will be able to claim the stored EXP).

Notice 1: Common

  • The Combat/Skill EXP will no longer be stored for tagging once the event has ended. However, the EXP stored prior to the end of the event will not disappear, therefore you will be able to claim the stored EXP anytime.
  • You can switch from your main character to the tagged sub-character anywhere you want, except for while your character is at the desert or in the ocean.
  • You can begin storing Combat/Skill EXP by selecting the main tagged character through the Tag button located next to the Campsite button on the top left of the screen. Then you can store Combat/Skill EXP as you play your main character.
  • The sub-character tagged to the main character can receive the EXP in a Safe Zone (same town) excluding Kusha, Abun, and Muiquun.
  • Normally you can only tag characters when you have at least one character above Lv. 56 within the Family. However, for the Dual EXP Share Event, you can tag characters as long as you have a Lv. 7 or higher main character.

Notice 2. Main Character related

  • After a character has been tagged with the main character, only the Combat/Skill EXP gained through defeating monsters with the main character can be shared (EXP gained through Black Spirit’s Training, quests, or Marni's Stone do not count).
  • Combat/Skill EXP gained through boosts such as a Value Pack, Book of Combat, or Extra Combat EXP Scroll can be stored for the tagged sub-character.
  • While tagged, the main character can be at any level when storing Combat/Skill EXP for the tagged sub-character. (However, there are limitations to the tagged sub-character. Please refer to the points below.)
  • The main character can still store EXP for the tagged sub-character without leveling up, even when the main character has not yet completed the quest to reach Lv. 50 (for previous users, it is the [To Level 50!] Giant Catfishman Qoobe quest, and for the new users, it is the [To Level 50!] Breaking New Ground quest).
  • You cannot use Black Spirit’s Training while tagged. However, note that you can still use the Book of Training.
  • The Combat EXP you lose when you die as the main character does not affect the EXP stored for the tagged sub-character.

Notice 3. Sub-character related

  • After a character has been tagged with the main character, only the Combat/Skill EXP gained through defeating monsters with the main character can be shared (EXP gained through Black Spirit’s Training, quests, or Marni's Stone do not count).
  • The stored Combat/Skill EXP can only be shared with the sub-character who is tagged to the main character. You can obtain the stored EXP with the tagged sub-character by logging in as the tagged sub-character, and then by clicking on the “Get EXP” button in the Tag window.
  • The Combat/Skill EXP boosts from the Value Pack, Book of Combat, or Extra Combat EXP Scroll will not affect the tagged sub-character when claiming the stored Combat/Skill EXP.
  • EXP gained in a Party will be shareable. In addition, Olvia server buff and Fever Time buffs will also be shareable.
  • Sub-characters up to Lv. 59 can receive the stored Combat EXP.
  • The tagged sub-characters cannot receive Combat EXP beyond the amount needed for reaching Lv. 59. This means that if a tagged sub-character has more than enough EXP to reach Lv 59, whatever extra EXP that remains beyond Lv. 59 will be lost.
  • Skill EXP can be continued to be shared regardless of the tagged sub-character’s level.
