Head over to the Coastal Cliff in Balenos and fly wish lanterns with Lara and the children! You will get the [Event] Box Full of Wishes as a New Year’s gift. May your wishes light up the sky!

 

 

• The following quests will be available for a limited time!
  • Quest period: January 1, 2021 (00:00 UTC)–January 2, 2021 (23:59 UTC)
  • These quests are available once per in-game Family and must be completed in consecutive order as they are listed in the table below.

Event 2: Let the Bell Toll

Joyful Pouch of Fortune availability period: December 30, 2020 (after maintenance)–January 6, 2021 (before maintenance)

Quest Period: January 1, 2021 (01:00 UTC) – January 5, 2021 (23:59 UTC)

 

• During the event period, get Joyful Pouch of Fortune from defeating monsters all over the world of Black Desert Online!
  • You can sell Joyful Pouch of Fortune for 100,000 Silver via NPC shops.
  • You can also use the Joyful Pouch of Fortune to accept and complete a special quest from Lara in which you hand over the Joyful Pouch of Fortune to make the bell toll.

Event 3: Boss Drop Rate Boost, Part 1

Period: December 30, 2020 (after maintenance)–January 6, 2021 (before maintenance)

 

• During the event period, the drop rate of certain loot items from defeating certain world bosses will double.
  • The drop rate boost applies to the following bosses: Kzarka, Nouver, Kutum, Karanda, Offin.
  • The drop rate boost DOES NOT apply to: Nightmarish Kzarka, Bloodstorm Nouver, Stormbringer Karanda, Vell, and Garmoth.
  • Please note that Item Collection Increase Scroll items do not affect the drop rate of boss monster loot.
  • As world bosses spawn in Danger Zones, you may receive death penalty for being killed by world bosses.

• Book of Training items are great items for aspiring adventurers yearning to train with a scarecrow to gain Combat/Skill EXP. During the event period, Book of Training items purchasable for Silver from the Pearl Shop (F3) will give 50% more EXP and be sold at a 50% discount!

 

• Start training with a scarecrow located near NPC Jamey Drucker of each town to get x1.5 times the EXP boosts.

• This event applies to all servers including Olvia, Arsha, and Season Servers.
• [Event] Book of Training - Combat / Skill are available from level 50.
• Combat EXP event effects do not apply to characters below level 50. However, the skill EXP bonus event effect is not affected by level.
• Combat /Skill EXP will stack with existing EXP gains, such as scrolls, elixirs, and Value Pack.

 

• Book of Training items sold with Silvers will be offered at a 50% discount.
  • Max 1 purchase per Family (resets every day 00:00 UTC).
