First Anniversary of The Great Expedition - Set Sail Again

The Great Expedition was first introduced in NA/EU regions back on October 23, 2019. Enjoy the following events to celebrate the one year anniversary of The Great Expedition, which extended the existing ocean content by adding additional maritime features to the Great Ocean.

Don't forget to enjoy some of the highlights of The Great Expedition:

• Ocean Current and Wind: Tame the wind and take advantage of it in this new navigation system

• Variety of boats: This new update increases the total of large ships, and also introduces brand new ships, Cogs. Trade or fight lovers, there is something for every taste.

• Bartering System: Cross the ocean and trade goods to receive a new currency or new ship materials

• Sailors: Hire NPCs on your boast that will help you through the turmoil of the sea

• Khan: Defeat this giant maritime boss and get rewarded with valuable treasure.

Event 1. Set Sail with Burst of Boosts

Period: October 21 (after maintenance)–November 4 (before maintenance)

• Enjoy all of the following boosts to better your ocean adventures!

• During the entire event period, Sailing and Barter EXP will be boosted by +50%! 

• During the event period, you will receive +30% EXP boost for your Sailors for defeating the following sea monsters:

Event 2. Lekrashan Strikes

• During the event period, special field boss Lekrashan will appear at sea!

  • If you defeat Lekrashan with other adventurers, up to 5 adventurers will be able to obtain loot from Lekrashan.

  • Your obtainable rewards will depend on chance but not necessarily on your contribution in defeating Lekrashan. 

• During the event period, the 'Available Summon' count in your Guild menu to spawn guild boss Khan will increase from 1 to 2.

  • After the event period ends, the summon availability count will go back down to 1.

Event 3. Build a Strong Ship

Period: October 21 (after maintenance)–November 4 (before maintenance)

• Go to the NPCs below to accept special quests and defeat sea monsters! You will be rewarded with materials needed to build a strong ship!

  • Special quests will no longer be acceptable after the event period ends. However, you will still be able to progress and complete the ones already accepted even after the event period ends.

  • Special quests will reset at 00:00 UTC daily. Please note the different limits per family/days for each quest.

Bonus. Special Quests Permanently Added!

Period: Permanent addition from October 14 (after maintenance)

• With a character of Lv.50 or above, enter specific regions in the Great Ocean to see region quests appear in the top right corner of your screen.

• Exact locations of regions where region quests will appear can be checked on the World Map (M). Sail into the great ocean and defeat monsters for special rewards.

• Region quests can be completed once per family.

• If the region quests do not appear even after entering a specific region at sea (located on the World Map (M)), please restart your client or try entering the area again from a different route. 

• Region quests numbered I—III must be completed in consecutive order.

• You can complete and obtain the rewards from region quests "Hungry Sea Creatures' Crystal I—III" by defeating Hungry Hekaru or Hungry Ocean Stalker.
