BDOvision 2022
Adventurers, it is time to bring the joy of music to the world of Black Desert once more! The Concert is about to begin!
We have also decided to host our very own musical contest with the different performers each representing different cities within Black Desert.
The Contest
A panel of judges will be scoring the participant's compositions throughout the performance. Each participant will be asked to choose a city to represent from the world of Black Desert, this will be done through a form on our official Discord server.
Once the city is decided, performers will be asked to create an original piece based on the city they represent. After submitting the piece, the chosen performers will be asked to join us on our official stream.
We do ask that you ONLY use music that you composed yourself exclusively! (You still have freedom when it comes to the arrangement.) We look forward to listening to everyone’s amazing performances!
Event Period
- Sign Up/Submission Period: June 24, 2022 - July 20th, 2022 (before maintenance) 08:00 (UTC)
- Concert Participation/Stream Announcement: July 20, 2022
- Concert Date: July 23, 2022
* The exact times of the stream and concert will be announced with the participant announcement.
* If you are picked as a participant but cannot attend the concert, you may send us a video recording of your Shai(s) playing your song.
Entries for Musicians
① Join our Discord using the link below and fill in the form within the BDOVision channel.
* You will have to indicate the top 5 cities you would like to represent in order of preference.
* If you wish to participate as a band, please make sure to select a primary member who will fill in the form for the whole group.
② We will get back to you as soon as possible with the city you will represent.
* Please know the city will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis.
③ Compose and submit your song before July 20th, 2022 (before maintenance) 08:00 (UTC).

1. Publish your composition publicly in the music album with [BDOvision] at the beginning of your song's title!
2. Let us know the title of your song within the BDOvision channel in our Official Discord server.

All submissions will be judged by the Pearl Abyss Black Desert Team, based on internal selection criteria. The chosen participants will then be able to participate in the concert.
Viewers will also have a hand in the voting, this will be done via a poll in Twitch Chat. First, second and third place will be decided by the average score of the different panelists as well as the viewer’s vote.
Additionally, there will be a viewer's choice awarded to one of the participants that makes it within the top 8.
Audience Attendance
① You must publicly submit your song to the in-game music album and then fill out the Form within our Official Discord Server.
② You must not take another person’s work from the Music Album of any other region to recreate or claim it as your own.
③ Only one submission per Family is allowed. Only the most recent submission in the Discord Form will be considered.
④ Your song must be an original composition or in the public domain.
⑤ Composition titles must be appropriate to be shown on screen.
