2021 Winter Concert
Adventurers, we’re thrilled to finally announce our 2021 Winter Concert!
BUT before the big day, we’re searching for composers and scriptwriters to join us for our concert!
1. Shai Winter Concert
For the second iteration of the Shai concert, we’re looking for cheerful winter compositions. The selected songs will be performed by their composers during the big concert stream, where they can show off their skills to hundreds of fellow Adventurers LIVE!
We do ask that you ONLY use music that you composed yourself or music from the public domain exclusively! (You still have freedom when it comes to the arrangement.) We look forward to listening to everyone’s amazing performances!

Concert Participation Announcement: December 29, 2021
Concert Date: December 30, 2021
* The exact times of the stream and concert will be announced with the participant announcement.
* If you are picked as a participant but cannot attend the concert, you may send us a video recording of your Shai(s) playing your song.

1. Once you've finished composing a song, publish your composition publicly in the music album with [Winter] at the beginning of your song’s title! (Required)

Judging
All submissions will be judged by the Pearl Abyss Black Desert Team, based on internal selection criteria.
A maximum of 10 Submissions will be chosen for the concert on stream. (Number of selected submissions is subject to change.)
Audience Attendance
For the concert, we’ll also be inviting the Adventurers of the Month from our past BDO Monthly issues, as well as, the top composers in the Music Album to join our concert’s in-game audience!
The Rules for Musicians
1. You must publicly submit your song to the in-game music album and then fill out the Google Form.
2. You must not take another person’s work from the Music Album of any other region to recreate or claim as your own.
3. Only one submission per Family is allowed. Only the most recent submission in the Google Form will be considered.
4. Your song must be an original composition or in the public domain.
5. Composition titles must be appropriate to be shown on screen.
2. Script Writers
Are you creative? Are you funny? Here’s your chance to make CM Endlaive read your script!
Below you’ll find 3 different videos showing the manor, each with its own music and mood. It’s up to you to find the right words for Endlaive to read. Feel free to also direct his voice by adding “Emotion” prompts!
Your goal is to create a captivating advertisement for the GM’s Manor!

- If you are found to have participated in the event in an inappropriate way, such as stealing another person’s work or infringing upon another’s copyright, you will be disqualified from the event and have any prizes withdrawn even after the winners announcement.
- The number of winners is subject to change depending on the number of event participants.
- Pearl Abyss reserves the right to change the event prizes without prior notice depending on the circumstances.
- If your account is restricted for violating the Operational Policy before you receive the event prizes, you may be disqualified as a winner and have any prizes withdrawn even after being selected as a winner.
- Pearl Abyss reserves the right to change or cancel the event depending on mitigating circumstances. If changes are made, they can be found on this event page.
- Event items may have restrictions (sale/trade) and/or different binding settings/expiration dates. Due to this reason, these items cannot be transferred or restored.

- Participating in the event using inappropriate methods may result in a cancellation/retrieval of your reward(s) and/or restriction from the game.
