Scallywag Cannonball Hunt
It has already been a week since Corsair’s Awakening has been released, and the Slippery Scallywags are nowhere near done celebrating it!
After a particularly important brainstorming full of mischief, they have decided to prepare a big treasure hunt with the GMs – because which pirate doesn’t like a good ol’ treasure hunt?
So, prepare your best detective skills and join in on the fun!
Scallywag Cannonball Hunt
Event Period
- From August 18 (Wed) after maintenance to August 25 (Wed) before maintenance.
Event Details
① The Slippery Scallywags have taken their reliable cannon and scattered hints on all Official Black Desert social media about a special in-game location.
② Visit our Official Black Desert social media (and search carefully) to find all of them and arrange the letters to form the name of that location.

*The cannonball present in this event notice counts as one letter towards the final name of the location.
*Only the letters found on our official Black Desert social media mentioned above, and posted by us, count as hints for the event.
*A cannonball counts only once when present on a translated page. I.e.) The one in this event notice is also present in the French, German and Spanish versions of this notice, but it only counts once!
*Similar letters can be found on different platforms. If the letters are on different media, they will both be counted as two separate letters.
③ Once you have figured out the name of that location, find it in-game. From there, the GMs will be taking over for a fun hide-and-seek!
First, find GM Silver to accept the hide-and-seek quest (he should not be too hard to find 😉)
④ To complete the quest, you must find the following 7 GMs, finishing the quest with GM Quartz.

Tip! Besides GM Silver and GM Quartz, you do not need to find the GMs in a specific order!
⑤ Upon completing the quest, you will receive a medal looking like this:
